RK Renovation is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnification, or keyboard only navigation.

This statement describes the standard we aim for, the steps we have taken, the limitations we are aware of, and how to reach us if you run into a problem.

Our commitment

We want every visitor to be able to learn about our services, review our work, and request an estimate, regardless of ability or the device and assistive technology they use. Accessibility is something we consider as we build and update this website.

Standard we aim for

We aim for this website to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. This is a target we work toward on an ongoing basis, not a certification we have received. Some parts of the site may not yet fully meet every guideline.

What we have done

Steps taken so far on this website include the following.

• Semantic HTML structure so that headings, landmarks, and page regions are identifiable by assistive technology
• Keyboard navigable menus and navigation, so the site can be used without a mouse
• Visible focus indicators so keyboard users can see where they are on the page
• Text and background color combinations checked against WCAG AA contrast requirements
• Alternative text provided on images so screen reader users know what they show
• Respect for reduced motion preferences set in your browser or operating system
• A responsive layout that continues to work when the page is zoomed in

We are aware of the following limitations and are working to address them.

Some pages may include third party embedded content, such as maps or review widgets, and the accessibility of that content is not fully within our control.
